ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
The Oshiana Unique Thompkins Foundation was created to honor and continue the legacy of a bright, loving, giving, and amazing young woman whose life was taken too soon from senseless gun violence. Please click the link to see her story. Oshiana was striving to be the change she wanted to see in the world and wanted to take every action she could. She had a dream to help underserved youth and give back to her community and that is a mission we will continue through this foundation. Our nation is facing homelessness, family’s being out of work, lack of food, and other valuable necessities that families don’t have access to. We are taking action in the memory of Oshiana to help be a part of the solution. We are proud citizens of Contra Costa County and look forward to serving the youth in Richmond, North Richmond, San Pablo, El Sobrante and surrounding areas.
Mission: Our mission is to empower people to enhance health, promote education, and overcome hardships.
Vision: The O.U.T Foundation envisions a world in which the most vulnerable people will have the power to uplift themselves, and to create vital, healthy lives for their families and communities.
Values: Supporting underserved youth and minority children for a better future and helping communities in need.
